Is anyone else confused by Marcia's comments ~ The FB page for Capt'n Elmer's Fish Market says The winner of this lobster will choose it's fate. AND on the Fox Boston website under the article posted - Marcia says several different things:
1)the winner will choose it's fate! there is a boat arranged to take it out into the ocean and release it should the winner choose to do so. for those of you who would like to see that happen, buy tickets to benefit dana farber cancer institute (who endorse this lobster btw).
2)then she says: new england aquarium said they'd take it so the winner may choose to do that! otherwise there is a boat arranged to take it out to be released. we are just trying to use the opportunity to raise money for dana farber.
3)AND TWO HOURS AGO SHE FURTHER CONTRADICTS HERSELF: that is what we are going for. people do not understand obviously! we hope someone will release it but the goal is to raise as much money as we can for dana farber!
ALSO, isn't it 'interesting' that Capt'n Elmer's Fish Market FB page deleted these observations & questions from their FB page a few seconds ago!
MAKE UP YOUR MINDS ~ WILL THE ONE HUNDRED YEAR OLD LOBSTER BE KILLED or will it be released back into the ocean OR will it be given safe sanctuary at the New England Aquarium?!?!?

If you want positive publicity for the fish market, why not make up your minds?! Raising funds is great but you can raise the money without killing this one hundred year old lobster. Why not release the lobster back into the ocean or give it safe sanctuary at the New England Aquarium? Either option is a win win for the fish market and the lobster.
